My attempt at beating the world record. It didn't happen, but I got close. Currently, the world record is 170, and I got 149. I don't know what else to change. If you can beat my score, please share how you did it.

Why not play Indy instead of New England? Their DBs are worse and considering your offensive substitutions the offense isn't going to be better.
Learn to time your passes a little better so you catch them in the endzone instead of the risking being dive tackled. Also, if Jerry is covered throwing it to an open John Taylor is a better idea.
I only watched bits and pieces but at one point i saw you run the ball with Rathman. That seems pretty slow.
You kicked long with 7 seconds to go?!?!? An onside kick might have only taken 6 seconds and allowed you one last TD Pass.
I've never scored 149 points in a game before. It's quite impressive for a guy who seemingly doesn't understand a lot of the basics of Tecmo Super Bowl.

I didn't mean to kick it off at the end of the game, I messed that one up for sure. If I remember right, I ran it with Rathman when I was at the 2 yard line. Passing it when your that close wastes more time.
I always thought NE and IND were the same level of crappyness...

The Colts have arguably a better offense. The DBs of the Pats are better than the Colts. Thus, you're more likely to outrun them for open passes/completions than the Pats
As far as the run into the endzone you could either switch in Rice for that or immediately run up the middle with Montana if you want to run. Watching Rathman crawl up the middle probably only took an extra second.
