Though I will root for Giants.
Give me Patriots out of AFC so Payton/Brees can take over for Bellicheck/Brady.

To clarify, I want Giants to beat Packers so Saints get the NFC Championship at home.
Then I want Saints to beat Patriots in Super Bowl.

Pats
Ravens
Saints
Packers
If I had to bet money right now, I'd take the Saints to win it all. No disrespect to the Pack, I've just had a feeling about NO since the start of the season. If not them, then Green Bay. Both teams move the ball at will. I'm not completely sold on SF yet. If SF gets down early I just don't see them coming back. NYG have a scary D and seem to be clicking at the right time, like they did in 2007/08. NFC will have some exciting games, that's for sure. But they say D wins championships and that should favor SF and NYG, right??
I like the Pats out of the AFC, although their D scares the hell outta me. As a Pats fan, you just sit there and hold your breath. I thought it would be much better than it was this year, but certain players just aren't performing as they should and the guy making the biggest impact is now on IR. Ravens are a close 2nd and could easily walk out of Foxboro with a win. Not sold on Houston probably because they are playing a 3rd string QB, otherwise solid all around. Denver should not come close to NE this weekend...and if they do, I say Kraft needs to clean house. I can't see any of these AFC teams beating NO or GB though.
BUT...my prediction before the start of the season was NE 31 NO 24...so you can hold me to that.

49ers and Ravens in Super Bowl, but don't ask me who i think will win. I'm just goin' by the old adage 'defense wins championships'. And with the Pats giving up 409 ypg and the Pack giving up 411 ypg i can't rightfully go with them. Plus we all know "The Rule"; both #1 seeds don't go to the Bowl. That and i most DEFINITELY do not want to see yet another Pat (or Pack for that matter) Super Bowl. Ravens and Saints would be best, i just don't see the Saints offense overcoming the 9ers defense (and believe me, that was hard to type).

Before the season I picked NO to beat NE in the SB so I'm sticking to that pick.
NO beats SF
GB beats NYG
BAL beats HOU

49ers over the Saints
Brees will turn the ball over 2x and 49ers will not have any. 23-17
Baltimore over the Texans
As long as the ravens run the ball 15+ times they win (12-0 on the year). Yates will turn it over and the Ravens will run the ball well.
Packers over the Giants
Classic case of everyone getting excited over a wild care performance. This is NOT the same Giants team that won the SB. That team had a dominant run game and pass rush, this team has been inconsistent with both. Packers win by 3-4 Touchdowns.
Patriots over the Broncos
The Broncos will come in with a good offensive game plan but won't be able to stop the Pats.
Winner of the Texans/ Ravens game will be going to the superbowl. My money is on the ravens to win it all no matter who they play from the NFC. I don't know who'll win the GB vs SF game.

I just have to go with the Tim Tebow/Belief ethos of who I want to win (while parenthetically including my actual picks)...
Broncos @ Pats ... (The Bronks will surprise... ahhhhh, the Glory.)
Texans @ Ravens ... (Baltimore)
Giants @ Packers ... (NYG will win, even though GB should win)
Saints @ 49ers ... (This game should be bad-ass.)

A few people predicted NYG and SF, but I, for one, am completely shocked. I guess defense does win championships. Smith and "the other" Manning are playing really well, too.
I'm taking NE out of the AFC simply because they are at home. Turnovers will be key in this game.
I honestly can't predict the NFC...
Whatever happens, we should be in for one exciting Super Bowl.
We were however the only 2 that made SB predictions that actually picked 2 teams that made the playoffs.

Just a reminder that the games tomorrow are at wacky times.
Ravens at Patriots -7.5, O/U 50.5
CBS 3pm
Giants at 49ers -2.5, O/U 43.5
FOX 630pm
I'm taking NE & Over, NYG & Under but I want the Harbaugh Brothers in the SB.
