- Switch between 2d and 3d on the fly (single mode only)
- Single mode play - preseason, Regular Season, All-Star
- Single mode play - casual or competition - casual keeps the scores locally whereas competition lets you compare your scores vs. everyone else who plays and actually dings you if you quit a game
- Multiplayer mode - Perhaps you can't play with all 30 teams locally?
- Online vs. - only preseason and I'm not sure anything as far as records are kept

I'm a big fan of the 1993 version but, not being able to edit the stats freely, sucks.

They made "tecmo Jo" available on DS and they know how much he matters.
Look for either "all-time greats" ala TSB III, where you can unlock Bo or else possibly other seasons

The last names like a lot less Euro than Kickoff, which is cool. It seemed like they tried to make up fake names for awhile with Kickoff and then said "screw it," and picked up an Italian phonebook.

It says on all the sites with info about the game that there are 32 teams.I wonder what they are going to do for the extra 4 teams and I wonder if there will be a 2pt conversion?

I posed the same quesiton about the 4 extra teams. I'd probably bet money that there isn't gonna be 2-point conv. in this version...they are basically keeping what's there, addding netplay, and a 3D option, and that's about it. I could be wrong, but the trend seems to be that it's not changing much.

I like that the producer said it'd be out "very soon."

I got a feeling that there might only be 28 teams. If they werent going to add the new 2pt conversion, Then they probably wont add the teams. It sucks that you can only change the name of the teams too. How about at least letting us change the uniform colors?

My impressions of that game trailer are these:

> The 3D graphics look sluggish, and the animations look stiff and somewhat uninspired. I'm not saying the models of the players or the architecture of the graphics system can't work. It could look fun enough, but not as it is currently.
> I think the clips of the 2D they showed looked solid.
> I think the lack of visual editing in this game is going to murder it.
> I think a lot of new fans are about to find Knobbe.

It looks like a step in the right direction, but considering Kickoff went backwards, it's only one step.

I disagree MGK, I think the 3D graphics look nice and fresh.

The only thing i have heard them say as far as teams go is "all the snes stats are there". The guy gives pretty much the same answer everytime for every interview.Most of the interviews ask the same few questions too. Im going to buy the game just because it says tecmo bowl but i go a feeling its not going to live up to our standards.

I'm pretty sure I read in one of the twenty interviews I've read that you can do season mode online and off-line but not with multiple users. What's the point of doing it online if you're by yourself?!! Am I missing something? Not being able to do a season with my friends on my own couch will suck. It amazes me how out of touch companies are to their primary consumers. I wish McDonald's would make a Tecmo Super Bowl game -- at least we know they'd do it right!

I also am wondering what the hell that goofy circle thing is all about? Is that replacing the bar graph attributes?
