This game was made for online play and what better way to offer it than as downloadable content. I can't wait to finally get a chance to play some of you die hard Tecmo fans and see who has the godlike fingers to break all those tackles. My dream has come true!Thanks Tecmo. Ok, they have a picture of TSB, but is the game going to be "Tecmo Bowl" or "Tecmo Super Bowl"?????
And is there any way to keep people from using turbo on XBL?? ?

If you read the article, it says that the new Tecmo Bowl for the Wii is put on hold indefinitely. They decided to scrap the existing working of the game for "Family Fun Football", or some name like that, to make a family oriented game for the Wii instead.
Oh well...

Well, with that kind of response, would it be appropriate for me to make ANOTHER thread, just retitle it "No Tecmo Bowl Wii, it's changed to "Family Fun Football" and use the link from danny?
Would that be more appropriate in your mind versus just making a note on this thread to those who aren't going to read the article but COULD find it to be a BIG DEAL that the game promoted on the Wii is about to become something else?

Thanks for the credit. I'm looking forward to playing Tecmo Bowl on Xbox Live just so long as they don't screw up the game. Tecmo listen to a diehard fan and listen good. Keep the same EXACT game play. Simply improve the graphics and animation, and add more cinema screens. It's that simple. Oh and no remixes of the music, the original music suited the game perfectly and would bring back fond memories more so than those sucky Tecmo Kickoff remixes. Thanks.Bodom18 said:

The only way to get a modded controller is to buy one off of ebay, and they go for 80 dollars. So they are pretty uncommon. But no, there is no way to stop them, and they are super fast. The ebay auctions usually have videos demonstrating people playing Halo 3, or COD4 with them. I would imagine you would know if you played against someone using one, since any grapple would take you down instantly.

Actually, the grapples don't take you down faster, and they could just choose to let you win a few so you wouldn't suspect. I've heard you can get banned from Halo for using turbo though.
