  1. I'm curious if anyone is going to make a TSB NCAA 2018 rom for this upcoming season. Dave? Baron? Buck? Xplozv? I usually do but don't see it happening right now.
  2. Hi, Looking for any older NCAA tecmo football ROMs. Seems they only go back a few years on here, but I remember them being made probably back a decade ago. Anyone care to share a classic NCAA ROM? Thanks! Joel

This ROM is a 2017 update to the 1996 SNES release of College Slam, the NCAA version of NBA Jam. In the original game, there were no players - just generic names like "PT GUARD," "CENTER," etc. I have edited all the names to reflect the top five players from all 44 included teams. I've updated the names, player ratings, appearances, and a couple of team names (FSU becomes Florida State, UNC becomes North Carolina). As an added bonus, when you press UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT-UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT on the title screen, you can unlock 9 extra teams. I've edited these as well. The unlockable teams are the 2010 thru 2016 All-American teams, BaronROMs University, and the East Side Crew (folks I grew up with who traveled between each other's houses, having SNES TSB and NBA Jam parties on the weekends). Enjoy! The complete list of teams available is: Alabama Arizona Arkansas Boston College California Cincinnati Connecticut Duke Florida Florida State Georgetown Georgia Georgia Tech Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky LSU Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Michigan St. Missouri North Carolina North Carolina State Nebraska Memphis Ohio State Oklahoma Oklahoma State Penn State Purdue St. John's Syracuse Texas UCLA UNLV Southern Cal. 5. View File TSB NCAA 2016 My TSB NCAA 2016 is for this upcoming year. EA always being a year ahead is dumb. This rom is complete and I don't see me making any updated versions in the near future. My teams were ranked according to Phil Steele's Annual Magazine Pre-Season Poll. I used bruddog's thread ranking the teams for MAN games and Phil Steele's Unit Rankings to compare and determine which NCAA team should get which Original TSB offense and defense. I did all the names for every player and the depth charts (from early July) according to Ourlads site and for the gaps I used Phil Steele's Magazine again. RANK - NCAA (TSB OFF/DEF) 1. 6. View File NCAA: TSB 2016 I have been sitting on this ROM for almost a year before finally releasing it. This is a collaborative effort between myself and Dave Murray. The ROM was originally finished at the end of the 2015-16 NCAA football season and is based on said season. Unless I missed anything, all instances of "NFL" have been removed from the game and replaced with NCAA logos, so that the game will have an authentic college football feel. There are 32-teams on the ROM, with each team having their own helmet art included on their team data screens (helmet art courtesy of Dave Murray). These lucky 32 teams are: Florida State Clemson Pittsburgh Miami Missouri Georgia South Carolina Florida Auburn Texas A&M Louisiana State Alabama Syracuse Louisville Virginia Tech Notre Dame Michigan Nebraska Ohio State Wisconsin Oklahoma Kansas State Baylor Oklahoma State Stanford South California UCLA Oregon Texas Iowa Michigan State Penn State The rosters and ratings were set at the end of the season so they would reflect performances throughout the season. Again, this ROM is a year old in terms of rosters. However, perhaps this ROM can set the groundwork as a base-ROM for future releases. 7. View File NCAA Tecmo Bowl 2017 This is NCAA Tecmo Bowl 2017! Using the original Tecmo Bowl (not Tecmo Super Bowl), this ROM consists of 32 NCAA football schools. I used a few different criteria when determining which of the 120+ teams to use in this game, from historical reputation (i.e. Notre Dame, Alabama), TB.org community interest (i.e. Syracuse, Purdue), recent success (i.e. Boise St., Oregon), and the military academies. Using the original Tecmo Bowl's ratings as a template, the players were rated based on 2015 season statistics, 2016 partial season statistics, various Heisman watch websites, and other sources. Rosters, ratings, home/away uniforms, cutscenes, and other small details were updated to ensure this is as authentic of an NCAA experience as this 8-bit simulation can provide. Aside from teams selection (as I'm sure not everybody will agree with my selections), if there are any glaring errors, please bring them to my attention. Enjoy! 11. File Name: Tecmo NCAA Basketball 2015 File Submitter: Baron von Lector File Submitted: 09 Nov 2015 File Category: NES This ROM is an edit of Tecmo NBA Basketball and is based on the 2014-15 NCAA Basketball season. With the 2015-16 season coming up, I chose to go with last season's rosters due to the fact that I wanted hard data to work with instead of speculative data. So, while there is no Ben Simmons in this ROM, there is plenty of Jahlil Okafor and Rakeem Christmas to go around. There are 27 teams included (see screenshots). To go along with the college rosters, I've edited all of the team logos and court logos. Play in the Carrier Dome! What I think makes this ROM special are the details that give it more of an NCAA-feel. Instead of playing in the NBA Playoffs, take your team through a 16-team March Madness tournament. Simdata had been adjusted so, again, the games feel more NCAA (80-70 games instead of 110-95). I've even included two All-American teams so you can play our own All-American All-Star Game. As a recommendation, set the season length to "Short" (26 games) to closely emulate the length of a typical 30-game NCAA season. There is only one downfall to this ROM that has to be mentioned, however. If you sim a season (with SKP), each team's #1 scorer will average over 60 points per game, while the rest of the team hovers at around 0.1. If anybody knows a fix to this, PLEASE, let me know. This was caused by using the Rabbit NBA Editor program. The workaround to this is by setting all of the teams' controls to COM (not yours) and letting the CPU battle it out. Most emulators have a speed control so you can set these games to 6400% and breeze them by. Enjoy! Click here to download this file

Intro Screen shows Jim Plunkett Heisman Trophy, Steve Worster All-American, Jim Stillwagon Outland Trophy All screens and field updated to show 1970, CFB, NCAA, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, or Conference. Updated Uniforms for each team. One team in white jerseys every game. All teams are based on TSB teams from Original rom so it plays like the Original rom. Be aware Alabama and Georgia do not appear in SEC standings or on any leader board. You can see their stats and record on Team Data page only. They also can not appear in the Postseason. File Name: Tecmo College Champions Edition File Submitter: NaciremaDream File Submitted: 22 Jul 2015 File Category: Misc ROMs Feel free to use the rosters for your own project as I have built this upon the great works of others. I put alot of work into the rosters and ratings but I can't say they are 100% perfect (Though I tried). I tried hard to give players their uniques abilities but of course this is limited. We are currently working on trying to get the helmets fixed and possibly adding two more teams ('61 Minnesota, and '84 BYU). P.S. Once we get the other helmets done I will work on adding multiple roster versions for teams which have multiple championships .. Miami's teams, FSU's, Ohio State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn St,. Oklahoma and so forth. Click here to download this file

This is the rom from the forum. Feel free to use for your own project as I have built this upon the great works of others and offer it up to everyone. I put alot of work into the rosters and ratings but I can't say they are 100% perfect (Though I tried hard). Also tried to give players their unique abilities. Maybe minor skin color errors , and / or jersey number errors but should be very minimal. In 4-3 defense I made the OLB the DE and placed the better of the two on the top for FG block ..It is possible we may get the helmets fixed and possibly adding two more teams in the future. ('61 Minnesota, and '84 BYU). Thanks again, P.S. Later I will work on adding multiple roster versions for teams which have multiple championships .. Miami's teams, FSU's, Ohio State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn St,. Oklahoma etc
  17. TSB NCAA14 I'm happy that College Football finally embraced the playoff format even if it's only 4 teams. I think 8 will be ideal and it seems to be coming soon with the money it would generate. In the rom, if you want to re-live the 2014 season then you can just play through Week17 and be done. If you prefer to have the end of season bracket like I do then go for it as I left it in. In the schedule, I also tried to add some of the non-conference games that happened in the real season and some of the previous years' bowl games. Schedule: 12 games each Week 13 Rival Week & Army-Navy Game Week 14 Conference Championships Week 15 Bowl Games Week 16 College Football Playoff (Florida State vs Oregon / Ohio State vs Alabama) Week 17 College Football Championship (Ohio State vs Oregon) Features: Team Rankings (not perfect but close) on each of their helmets. I stink at doing helmets so I came up with an idea and Proads26 made it a reality for me. My teams were ranked very close to the USA Today Coaches Poll right after the National Championship. I used bruddog's thread ranking the teams for MAN games as I make roms to play with my friends head to head. I also used some info from Mort's Top20 Matchups thread to make rival games that would be good MAN vs MAN games. My friend and I tried to match the NCAA14 team with a team either similarly ranked from TSB or that had similar roster profile. No, it's not perfect but it's easier than rating every player and I don't have the patience or free time for that type of work. I used a random name generator to do the rosters but then decided to name the QB, RB, WR, TE and a few on defense. Rivalscom and Espncom Stats were used for depth charts and/or the names of the players that played the most. Feel free to open the rom in Tool and fix your team. 18. Hi all, Looking for some answers to a few basic questions. Hope you can help! I have a couple of different 32-team ROM's...assuming it doesn't matter which one, I am trying to convert the ROM from NFL teams to college teams. I have narrowed it down to the 32 teams I want and have grouped them in relevant groups of 4 according to geography. I want to: - Edit team names in all of the parts they are displayed. (i.e. Atlanta Falcons will now be Florida State Seminoles) - Edit player names and data to have it be relevant to the FSU players - Edit team colors - Edit football helmets (I have another ROM that has some of the helmets from 2006...maybe I can extract them?) - Edit playbooks I know there are a bunch of utilities that all claim to do this. However, not all seem to work with the 32-team ROM. I have used TSB Tool Supreme a little bit, but can't figure out how to change team names...editing stats and player names seems simple enough. I'm not a total rube when it comes to editing things like this, so feel free to give me some technical answers. The other kicker is that I'm running Vista 64-bit, which I assume will cause some compatibility issues, since it almost always seems to. But I have a work laptop with Windows 7 on it, so maybe it will work on that?
