  1. Well, I do think it sounds like it is going to happen, but you're probably right about unpractical because the flash carts are expensive and not everyone has a PC near where they'd have their console. I guess it will really only be used by the very hardcore gamers that want to play the game on the hardware it was meant for rather than emulators.
  2. Hi guys, I'm new to the forums here but just thought I'd share a very very real possibility. I don't believe this has ever been done before but correct me if I'm wrong. Has anyone ever attempted to basically network together 2 Genesis or Super Nintendo systems, for online play before? I'm not talking bout X-Band here which I believe only a handful of games it supported, but rather a very unique way of hooking up online. I have a close friend that is involved with the production of some of the flash carts that are being produced for genesis/ snes and other systems. Basically there's an idea in place that would allow you to hook up your flash cart while in your console to your computer and connect up with someone else and play them, straight from the real hardware itself. I have no idea how it works or the details but what I do know is that it is being attempted, and I was just wondering how much interest there might be from tecmo bowl players if something like this came to be? I know there's a lot of people that really prefer real hardware to emulators, and i think this would make the tecmo experience that much better if it could be pulled off. I'm curious as to what you guys think? I myself was pretty giddy with excitement when I heard about the possibility. Anyhow just let me know if you guys have any interest at all in something like this happening, thanks!
