  1. Did You Know: 1) Tampa Bay WR Mark Carrier and Chicago safety Mark Carrier are third cousins. 2) Seattle WR Brian Blades and Detroit safety Bennie Blades are brothers. They were on the same team (Seahawks) together for one season, in 1997. 3) In 1991 Redskins kicker Chip Lohmiller outscored the entire Colts team. Chip scored 149 points; the Colts 143. 4) In 1984, Steelers cornerback Rod Woodson qualified for the US Olympic trials in the hurdles. 5) Eagles db Ben Smith ended Bernie Kosar/QB Browns' pass-attempts-without-an-interception streak at 308. 6) Miami punter Reggie Roby wore a watch on the field to calculate hangtime. 7) Steelers db Carnell Lake was a linebacker in college. San Fran nosetackle Michael Carter won silver in the shotput at the 1984 Olympics. 9) KC safety Kevin Porter and Cincy rb James Brooks are cousins. 10) Most people know Vikings rb Hershel Walker was on the bobsled team in the '92 Winter Olympics, but did you know he was planning on joining the US karate team for the '92 Summer Olympics? Unfortunately for Hershel, the US would not field a karate team in '92. 11) After the 1991 Broncos/Oilers playoff game, Denver WR Vance Johnson sued HBO for showing him naked in the locker room on "Inside The NFL". 12) In 1991, Denver qb John Elway was fined $1,000 for giving a ball to a wheelchair-bound fan during a game. The Broncos were also penalized 5-yards. 13) In 1989, Randall Cunningham/QB Eagles booted the longest punt of the season: 91 yards! Too bad you can't have him punt in TSB! His Kicking Ability would be 100! 14) SF qb Joe Montana threw for 1,142 yards and 11 touchdowns in his four Super Bowl appearances. How many interceptions did he throw? ZERO!!!!! 15) In 1992 a conman posing as Giants wr Mark Ingram appeared on The Maury Povich Show. Maury's staff contacted the Giants for background info on Ingram and learned he was in Detroit on the day of the show's taping. The episode never aired.
