  1. At one point, Stephen, I thought the job you have now would be like a dream job of sorts. Do you have any contact with your target audience? If so, how do you retain your sanity?
  2. ^ Literally linked to in two posts above your question...
  3. Somebody took Bodom's job! Niiiiiiiiiiice.
  4. I mean it! I know you've been isolated in your RBI enthusiasm. I'm happy you found a partner in crime!
  5. The mutual admiration in this thread is heart-warming. Please continue.
  6. What. This is just crazy pants. Honestly, it's amazing builds like this that could actually make me find interest to play TSB again. Can I suggest adding Bruddog's push/pull tackle hack?
  7. Yeah, PSX emulation is spot on. Come to think of it, I haven't played FF7 since the late 90s. I might have to give that a whirl. Combine with this: http://www.engadget.com/2015/03/31/google-chromebit/ and you might have a portable, HDMI-ready bluetooth emulation device for $100? I'm currently balls-deep in a Final Fantasy Tactics replay in the form of a mobile version on my iPhone 6-plus. This game was MADE for mobile gaming. And it's awesome. Also, on the topic of modding, I'd sell one of my nuts for a PSX language mod of the Japanese version of Tenchu 1. The Japanese version had a level editor that the American release did not, and I also think that the original Tenchu for the PSX is a classic game.
  8. Is there a special 'roids power up in the game?
  9. Hey dude, I haven't had a chance to play your ROM yet, but I want you to know I totally appreciate the time you've committed to putting out a revised TSB experience for the modern season. From the write-up you've written, it looks like it should be a ton of fun. Congratulations, dude, and well done!
  10. Yeah, when I played the remade GameCube version, I was stoked. It's how Resident Evil was meant to be played. Great stuff.
  11. This is the GameCube remake with better background textures?
  12. The 'Murica version is a total winner. Truly awesome.
  13. I only have the attention span / free time bandwidth for mobile gaming, these days. The kind of games where I can jump in just as quickly as I jump out. As well as carry it with me wherever I go, if I wanted (phone / tablet). I've gotten to a point now where I just don't get gaming as an 'appointment' anymore. This all being said, Skyrim looked pretty damn cool.
  14. Looks awesome! My Black Friday purchases consisted of a Samsung Galaxy Tab S at a super-reduced price, a Logitech Keyboard folio, and a Samsung Stylus Pen S. For games, I picked up X-COM: Enemy Within for my iPhone. The recent X-COM Games are my absolute favorite strategy games. They are amazeballs.
  15. Shining Force 1 is my favorite 16-bit era strategy/RPG. It's amazing. I've played it through multiple times. If you play the actual Genesis version, there's a code you can use to rename the characters, too!
  16. My most memorable play is The Zoo Story, by Edward Albee.
  17. When CX_ROM or Jstout (whichever one actually did) made this aware to me years ago, I thanked God this didn't happen. Why put any penalties in the game if you're only going to put two line-based ones in? Penalties would kill TSB.
  18. I spent a good amount of time fixing running plays in the original TSB so that the CPU ballcarrier path would avoid most DL/OL or WR clusterf*cks.
  19. When Dan Marino is feeling Excellent, he is 65% more likely to drop lawsuits.
  20. ^ Yup. I never understood that. It was one of the first things I wanted to correct when I started messing with player placement. Does someone have an explanation for why the LOLB is positioned deeper?
