  1. Hi QBEagles, I've been playing your ROM for a while now, and I have to say that for the most part I enjoy it very much. I am having fun with it. My only real criticism has to do with grappling. It's virtually impossible to break a tackle now. If the defense grabs onto my player, I have no way to keep them from going down. This has led to a lot of plays getting blown up in the backfield, and some are over even before they have an ounce of time to develop. At first I didn't mind so much, but it's getting more and more noticeable and it is becoming frustrating to deal with. I would rather have the grappling system the way it used to work, when it was easier to break tackles. One other small cosmetic detail: On the main menu, it still says "2007 NFL" when it should say "2010 NFL". It looks fine in season mode, it's just the menu that has that error.
  2. I'd like to give the palette file a try. I do have nestopia on my computer. Anything special I would have to do to load it?
  3. But other mods do have the Steelers wearing yellow. I have mods from 2007-09 and they all gave them yellow shirts. Granted, it's not a bright yellow, it's kind of dark almost like mustard, but I still consider it yellow. It can be done. If the Seahawks can wear neon green, the Steelers can wear yellow. I understand that proads26 is trying to be true to real life, but I also think exceptions can be made.
  4. I haven't downloaded Test85 yet, but after playing 4 season games with the Steelers, I'm kinda disappointed that they haven't worn yellow yet. Every one of their first four games featured plain white shirts with black helmets and pants. It seemed too generic for me, and it's not like they were playing any other teams that wore yellow. Thanks for fixing the character limit on names, though. I do appreciate that. EDIT: Okay, I've done a quick check with the Steelers against most teams in Test85. They barely wear their famous black-and-yellow color scheme at all. If it weren't for the name, you wouldn't think you were playing with the Steelers, just some generic black and white team. When the yellow DOES come in, it is a very very pale yellow, so much so that I had to squint at the screen to tell it apart from white. Make it bold so people can see it, and give them yellow more often. It looks too bland otherwise.
  5. I gave Test 81 a very quick runthrough. From a gameplay perspective, it looks pretty good. There are a few cosmetic things I'd like to mention: 1. On Denver's roster, you have Brady Quinn as the #2 QB, but it seems like it will officially be Tim Tebow. You might want to put that in. 2. I know Ben Roethlisberger's name is a nightmare to put in the game, but there are ways around it. Most older versions have him listed as "BEN ROETHLISBERG" which I kinda find amusing. Other new versions for this year actually got it to fit by listing him as "B.ROETHLISBERGER" -- no spaces, just an initial with a full last name. Consider trying that. 3. I have to ask, what possessed you to give the Seahawks the neon green alternate jerseys? I know they wear those sometimes at home games, and it is refreshing to see every now and again, but if I were to play a whole season with them, that would start hurting my eyes. Maybe you should just default to the aqua blue. Again, gameplay-wise, I liked it. Just a few minor roster and graphics things that you might want to look into.
  6. Sadly, this has only been available for two days and it already needs amending. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingc ... id=4432734 Also, just noticed Lofa Tatupu's name is spelled wrong. You have him listed as Tatupa.
  7. Pretty good ROM, jeid. Only one complaint: Michael Vick should be the backup QB, not a RB. At the very least, he could be a WR.
