  1. A flawed hint and everyone is up in arms, but no question asked in over 2 days and everyone is all chill. Let's keep it going. Next question is a 2-part question, giving OL some love, and revolves around unique attributes. 1) We all know KC's John Alt is the strongest OL in the game... who is the weakest OL (HP)? 2) Which OL has the RS/RP reversed (69/31)? Hint: Tom Brady has better "hidden stats" than Johnny Johnson.
  2. Hog? Looks more like a GOAT drenched in gatorade...
  3. I mean, was the answer not still extremely obvious despite the flawed "hint"? GQAT
  4. Sorry might be flawed. I actually haven't looked at the pro bowl rosters in years. I just assumed he wasn't. LOL The hint is the "hidden" attributes. Also, his initials are JJ. Ok, go...
  5. Next trivia question: Who is the best all around RB in TSB, when you factor in hidden attributes? Hint: 1990 was the only year he made the pro bowl, however, he is not on the pro bowl roster in TSB.
  6. Gotta be Cincy Edit: I looked it up after (couldn't help myself) and it's the Bengals. My second guess would have been KC, but they ended up making the playoffs. I was surprised to see Miami did not.
  7. Good one. I would have got one of them correct. Then I googled it... so I'm eliminated. Two of my favorite players in the game - and in real life from that era.
  8. Saints. And I know this because 1990 was the first year I really got into the NFL - and the Bears were a 2nd favorite team of mine in the early/mid 90s. The Bears beat the Saints in the playoffs that year, only to lose to the eventual SB champions, the Giants. I remember watching the CHI/NO game with my cousin who was a few years older than me and a Bears fan. (on a side note, a lot of kids in the Boston area were "Bears fans" in the late 80s/early 90s because (1) one of their earliest memories was watching Chicago destroy New England in the Super Bowl when they were too young to have a rooting interest, (2) Chicago was so dominant back then, and (3) Sweetness/Fridge. Anyways... I can't think of a good question right now, so 11/12, Bruddog is up.
  9. Yeah, yeah! Alright, next trivia question (tried to pick one that would be tough to google): Which Tecmo Super Bowler meets the following criteria?* 1) Defensive player 2) Is credited with starting the most games (or tied for starting the most games) during the 1990-91 season, including playoffs (i.e. no other player started more games) 3) Scored at least 1 defensive TD in both the regular season and playoffs during that season *I'm 99.5% sure there's only 1 player that meets those criteria.
  10. I interpreted it as using the "ville" to get Jackson (unrelated to TSB), because it's the only NFL city that ends in "ville" (unless you count Nashville)... then naming the "most TSB" Jackson. I assumed Bo was the "most TSB" Jackson. But I could be way off... Also, Tom Coughlin was a good hint in the image above because in order to figure out this answer, you need to get extremely lucky. Just like Coughlin did in 2 Super Bowls...
  11. Can I have the question in a sentence? Ok, I am going with: BO
  12. Try changing the value at 2a544 Try some values around 3D, 40, etc. to see what feels right. I also had this in my notes - not sure if it will apply or not. Move KR back to avoid ball bouncing... change 8101 from 48 to 88
  13. Alright, then it's settled. The final division will be Kansas, Syracuse, BC and UMass.
  14. If anyone is making one, I'd be willing to offer assistance where I can. Here's a first pass at which teams should be included. I don't have much rooting interest with college football, so this is open to debate. Suppose we could ditch the Misc or Ind division for a second Big Ten. Another idea that has been used in the past is to make Army/Navy the pro bowl teams. * What are the chances Tecmo ever expands to 8 divisions with 5 teams each (40 total) for NCAA purposes? Most likely just a pipe dream. I have zero idea what it would take to accomplish that or what challenges this would present. Or even if only 4 of the divisions had 5 teams, etc. Just throwing around ideas.
  15. The OBJ cover is pretty sweet. I originally had that one in my Top 4, but my hatred of the Giants got the better of me. Replace Beckham with Edelman and it's the best one.
  16. Awesome work! My favorites (based purely on images) are probably AJ, Luck and Fitz.
  17. I have seen the CPU make some boneheaded decisions before, but this one was mind boggling. I was coaching a game this morning against the Rams. 4th quarter, they are down by 2 with 36 seconds left, 4th and goal from the 2 yard line - and instead of kicking a FG to win it, they picked a play. Screenshot is below. I don't think I have ever seen this in my 26 years of Tecmo. ps. I ended up stuffing the run (CPU calls Run 4 80% of the time in that situation). Instead of punting, I picked a running play and they got me for a safety to force OT. I won in OT.
  18. Just documenting my best ever NE COA season. To reiterate the rules: - No playbook changes - original Pats playbook only. - No roster moves of any kind (unless someone gets injured). - If someone gets injured, you must sub in the next in line as Tecmo would. - No checking player conditions. Ever. 15-1 + Super Bowl. My 1 loss was to the Vikings. (I actually had a 16-0 season a few weeks ago, but lost in the AFC Championship to Buffalo)
  19. The game restricts goalies from moving outside of the crease. This is probably a good thing. When you don't have the puck, you control all your players at the same time (i.e. when you push up, all 4 of your skaters and your goalie move up). If you are chasing the puck left or right and your goalie had no restrictions, he could end up at center ice or behind the net. Love this game, btw.
  20. This may save you some time. Once you enter all the players, ratings, etc - just paste into TSBTool Supreme. Instead of going one by one... TSBTool Import Spreadsheet.xlsx
