I'd say you have two options... 1) contact the seller and tell him the issue and get a refund and buy a different cart (I'd also recommend playing tsb3 on SNES over Genesis as Genesis has some really bad glitches and gameplay is not as good) or 2) take the cart apart and replace the battery. That should fix your issue, but if it doesn't, you could also still go back to option 1.

Faulkner is dead on... game study is easily the best thing you can do. Save states can allow you to quickly test pretty much every defensive formation against every play, and how every player responds based on your formation and play calls against each other type of play. There are tons of nuances to this, but if can be super helpful if you take game study that far.

Bo, I can't wait to climb into that beast with you and a bunch of dude for hours on end. Nothing could be funner!

If I was building, I would try to put good/great players in positions where the current players are not very good. Jamaal Charles, Eddie Lacy, Antonio Brown, Brandon Marshall, Travis Kelce, Jimmy Graham, etc In the NFTGL we used to use created players and eventually this was the method we thought was best, but we eventually found that created players didn't function based on stats the same way that non-created players did. So we stopped using them.

Hey Dom... I see you're new to the boards but that you've spent time editing hex on the game. Do you have a list of your notes and things you've figured out in hex for/about the game?

I actually believe deadfaulker is wrong here. If you move players around in the game, through trade and free agency, elite players like Steve Young, it drastically impacts the SKP effectiveness of the team they leave and the team they go to.

I'm not sure we've ever had a more intense regular season game in our history. The best part was that a random number (35) was thrown out there for what the guy needed to win by in order to make the playoffs... and he fought so hard but couldn't get there. Only to find out afterward that he only need 16pts of diff to get the final playoff spot. It was nuts, and the range of emotion on his face when he finds out is incredible. Will easily be one of my favorite videos to rewatch.

I am definitely coming up this year from Philly and I'm gonna try and organize a carpool of Philly tourney guys to join me. But I'm coming solo if I have to... and I *might* actually play a game or two at some point before the tourney.

There currently are no properly updated ROMs in existence yet. the SNES games just don't have the player fan base, and thus don't have as many people working on doing updated ROMs. So no carts either. It'll happen someday.
