  1. is there an edited original tsb rom (original rosters) posted somewhere that has any combination of the following: -the alternate playbook (ex: passing plays normally listed on the second play can be found on the third play, etc.) -the in-game playbook option (change playbook in the middle of a game) -the "options" selection on the first menu that allows one to change the quarter length i appreciate the help.
  2. this is A LOT of fun to use...completed a season with completely random rosters, was a great twist to the original game. is there anything like this out there for TSB3/SNES?
  3. i appreciate the explanation and the info...thanks again.
  4. started a season with the falcons on the original version...SO COOL to be able to use them with black jerseys and helmets, and silver pants! hypothetically, i don't imagine there's any way to "un-patch" if you wanted to...?
  5. this is a fantastic addition to the site, and i thank you for it. a little confused though, i see that the changes are already intact when i apply the ips patch, but the steelers came up with yellow helmets and jerseys and black pants...is there a way to edit/reverse this, or no? i tried to edit it with tool to no avail. thanks for the help, and once again, thanks for the hard work...this is something i've been looking forward to for a while now.
  6. i remember seeing this somewhere but now can't seem to find it. is it still available for download anywhere?
  7. very nice job! i'm about the pickiest person out there with roms, especially with player ratings, name spellings, jersey numbers, etc. i only took a quick look but this stuff looked great to me across the board. the one thing i would have to pick on is certain WR ratings...guys like michael irvin and T.O. for example. tecmo actually had it right to give irvin lower speed and a fair amount of hitting power (for a WR) on the official versions (latter versions). looks like you made both of them high MS guys with 13 HP. T.O. is this type of receiver too, although he definitely deserves some good MS, more than irvin for sure. but, this is a small thing to pick on and other than this i thought your player ratings were excellent and the rom is definitely playable...something i wouldn't say for most roms i find on here. like ones i find where carolina is in the AFC? wtf is that about? anyway, i also noticed you had scott fulhage as the bengals punter for the '88 squad. i probably would have made it lee johnson, only because he became the punter by the time the superbowl rolled around that year...and also because i am both picky and a bengals fan...lol! and now i'm just being a dick so i'll shut the hell up!
  8. It's cool that someone would name their kid Atari. You know what would be another good name? Coleco. Maybe Sega too. You could have a whole family. "How is little Tecmo doing?" "Oh not bad, but I can't get him to stop grappling with his brother Neo-Geo." LOL! i'm totally naming my kid Tecmo...or Coleco...or Neo-Geo! what the hell, maybe i'll just call him QB Eagles... Very nice list! I didn't even realize Henry wasn't there, that's too bad. As far as dt's at lb, a lot of people think they shouldn't be there I suppose, but I give you Jerome Brown and Dan Hampton as examples from NES TSB. true, and a good point about Brown and Hampton...although they were put at ILB, which suits a DT better. i think the top OLB is the most critical in the NES version (pass-rushing, blocking extra points and field goals, etc.), and just thought that since Dhani Jones has played well there at his natural position this year, he would be a better fit in that position than Thornton on the game.
  9. "Rosters and ratings are set, if you have an issue with those please discuss it elsewhere." My bad. Didn't know where else to post it though.
  10. Steelers WR Hines Ward s/b #86 Bengals TE Daniel Coats = not "Coates" Packers QB Aaron Rodgers = not "Rogers" Packers RB Ryan Grant = not "Brian". Also, should probably be the starter at this point. Packers RB Deshawn Wynn s/b #42 Packers SS s/b #20 Atari Bigby...well-established as the starter, behind only Nick Barnett and OSU's own A.J. Hawk in tackles. Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh = not "Daimon". Also has an extra space between first and last name. Also, #15 Chris Henry should DEFINITELY be on the Bengals roster, and in the #3 WR spot. Skyler Green is currently not on the active roster (practice squad). Another suggestion, John Thornton shouldn't be in a linebacker spot, being a large DT...the #1 backer should probably be #57 Dhani Jones (natural outside linebacker anyway), who has played pretty well since being signed (#4 on the team in tackles in only 10 games). Thornton should either be the NT or not on the game. BTW, I am NOT trying to be critical in any way, just trying to contribute because I think this is possibly the most amazing ROM anyone has made thus far. AMAZING work guys! I mean who could ever complain about a 32 team TSB??? OUT-FREAKIN-STANDING.
