  1. Hmmmmmmm... I know 99% was a largely exaggerated number, but after reading the following I'm not sure that your take is correct either... From: http://www.cfl.ca/index.php?module=Cont ... y&ceid=773 "The roster size for a CFL team is 40 players. 3 of the 40 are Quarterbacks and can be either imports or non-imports no restrictions. Of the remaining 37 players, no more than 18 may be imports. Therefore the maximum amount of imports allowed per team is 21. These numbers reflect the import player as it reads in the 2002 CBA."
  2. Hey I'm all for a CFL rom, but lets get some things straight... 1. CFL players, say 99% of them, would rather be making millions of dollars playing the NFL. Nobody plays JUST "for the love of the game" That's a fairy tale. Stop paying CFL for a little while and see how many guys actually show up. You may get a few, but yo won't get enough to field a team and play a game. If you think otherwise then you are sadly mistaken my friend. Sadly. 99% of the players in the CFL are Americans by the way, and they didn't grow up dreaming of making the game-winning TD in the Grey Cup, they dreamed of doing it in the Super Bowl. 2. CFL players cry and whine when they don't get their way just like players do in every other sport. I don't know what league you've been watching, but we hear about situations like this in the CFL, too. 3. While the Super Bowl has had a number of snoozers, there have also been a number of great games as well. In fact, one could make a strong argument that every Super Bowl since Super Bowl 30 (except Super Bowl 33 and 35) has been good, so your assessment is largely exaggerated.
  3. This is a great idea, hope it gets done some day... Only thing I see needs a fix from here is the BC Lions logo you have on your site. It looks more like the Clemson Tigers than the BC Lions, also, I hope you have new rosters because the ones in the photos are from last season.
  4. Hey Fjeff, How is the CFL project coming? I'm VERY interested in this!
  5. LOL. Yeah, I'm aware of the legal ramifications with the NFLPA. But, the NFLPA will give anybody the time of day if that person is willing to spend a large amount of cash. But, using all NFL players is not the direction I plan to go in since it would totally defeat the purpose of the World League of Online Football, an international league concept using ficticious players from 31 countries. For the United States team, I would be using all ficticious players or recently known Collegiate players who did not make it to the NFL, and of course only using abbreviations of their names which would prevent any infringment. Alternatively, the online database will allow users a blank slate to store their teams online with the ability to edit everything about their teams including names, colors, etc. The rest of the teams and names would all be ficticious anyway having teams from Japan and India, etc. (International theme) so there would be no risk at all there. I also plan to promote the league with some serious advertising dollars so every league promotion will be done in a first class manner that will be far and above what is being done with Online league promotions right now, so no need to worry. The league will take paid sign ups only. No freebies. But the cost will be low and the prize money I'm going to throw in will definitely bring people over. My only real worry is getting Tecmo to allow me to use their code set and the only way they are going to do this is if I cut them in on the profits, but I'm confident that I can iron something out in that department (I make deals for a living). Money is not a problem here. So, if anyone can aid me in finding a helmet editor, a Field/Endzone Editor and a Hex editor that will work for TSB 3 Final Edition for SNES, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
  6. An editor that does everything would be great! I hope pseudochrist finishes it, 'cause I would love to get my hands on it!
  7. I am in the process of creating a Rom using TSB 3 Final Edition for the SNES and I am in need of a helmet editor, a Field/Endzone Editor and a Hex editor that will work for TSB 3 Final Edition for SNES. The mission is to create a game called "The World League Of Professional Football" The idea is to incorporate teams from 31 Countries using some known players for the United States and Canadian teams, and all ficticious players for the rest of the countries. I then plan to put together an online infrastructure in the future to house this game so that people can play online in tournaments (I will be working on gaining permission from Tecmo for the online base). The league will be called "The World League Of Online Football". Records will be kept and the Winner of the Championship game will get a trophy and prize money! This will probably all take me a year or two to get everything organized, but I am deadly serious about making this go! If anyone can help me in anyway, I would greatly appreciate it!
  8. Jeff George took the Vikings to the playoffs in '99 as well and was one of the leagues top 3 passers, something he did a few times before with the Raiders and Falcons. Jeff George is one of the greatest passers to ever play the game. He had a cannon for an arm and he could be deadly accurate at times. Unfortunately, he was also one of the biggest jerks ever, and his career win stat sucks. If Jeff George could have kept himself in line, he would be on his way to the Hall Of Fame instead of just being a footnote in the anals of Pro Football history.
  9. Yeah I wish someone had an answer to this question because I am going through the same thing myself. Does anyone know what Error #5 is?
  10. Actually RDR (RDRRR!!!) you can change races just fine in TSB3 Final with the TSB 3 Manager. I did it myself last night... The photos I can tolerate.
  11. The TSB ultra for NES is nice, but I would LOVE to see a version of ultra done for TSB 3 Final Edition for the SNES! Since TSB has Trades and Free agecy you'd already have a "Franchise" mode built into the game. I think it would be much better. As a side question, why does'nt anyone show TSB 3 any love? TSB for the NES was great but TSB 3 Final for the SNES was pretty damn good too. If I could figure out how to do all of this editing you guys are doing, I would do it myself.
  12. I wish there was a step by step tutorial on editing TSB 3 Final Edition for SNES. I love playing that game. If anyone knows a of a tutorial on editing TSB 3 final for SNES and what I need to use in order to do it etc, let me know! I don't know how to do any of this stuff at all, it all sounds confusing to me.
