Sounds good to me. I'll spread the word around Jersey. We are probably around 4 ppl, one system, one cart, and 2 controllers.

I wouldn't think so. 4-5 people in a tourney 15 mins per game, 16+ games a season equals 16-20 hrs. I will run it by them though.

That was a little short notice. Artoose Monk, a couple friends of ours, and I are doing a season this weekend in Jersey. I would like to do another tourney up in NYC sometime soon though.

I haven't been on the site lately and was wondering if there was going to be a North East tournament this year the week before the superbowl. Anyone know?

I regret to inform the board that I will not be able to make it to the tournament despite the prospects of topless waitresses and free booze. It turns out that I have class on Saturdays this semester. Good luck.

I think last year's format should be altered slightly. I think that after you select a team, say the giants, they are unavailable for the rest of the tournament. I did not like that the teams would reset after you got into the playoffs.

I think we are set for the week in between the NFC/AFC championship games and the super bowl. I know I can provide at least 2 consoles and 4 games.

if you have groups of 4 and have 2 advance, 50% get into the tourney. You can always have a single elimination second chance tournament for the second half who did not qualify and have them play the guy who wins the loser's bracket to play the champ. I did not think that there were too many people in the dbl elimination tourney, but I know that I had played the same guy 3 times, once in the round robin and twice in the playoffs, and even though I won everytime, I wish that at least that will be changed for this tourney

I think we should do more of a world cup type playoff system where you get a group stage (round robin) then take the top 2 of each group then put them on opposite sides of the bracket, so then they will not face each other again until the finals or elimination bracket. Saturday of super bowl bye week sounds good. May have even more of a turnout from south jersey this year than last.

Why don't we run the berks county tourney with our own? More people, more competition, more fun. When is it?

I think that it is time for another tourney in the Philly-NYC area. We had a half decent turnout, and a really competitive round robin/playoffs. I wanted to get a preliminary headcount before I took steps to start something.

In all due respect this was in week 15 of an undefeated season. You guys are probably doing it in a preseason match. I actually saw the game, it was pretty impressive.
