  1. I can't run this one either. I have thousands of roms but my emulator won't recognize this one for some reason.
  2. That's what I was going to say.
  3. That was my thought as well. And it would be the one system I refuse to buy.
  4. I remember talk of something like this a couple of years ago but the game was to feature Tecmo-licensed characters instead of NFL players. With EA having exclusive NFL rights I'm not sure how excited I can get about this. Unless it contains some sort of editor like the PSX version has.
  5. Lol, I'm the same way. I would never part with mine. I sold the first one I bought back in 1996 but I grabbed it again from E.B. Games a couple of years ago. It has to be one of the most difficult PSX games to find.
  6. Sorry if this has been posted. Scroll about halfway down the page. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/787/787604p1.html
  7. Those FAQs are awesome. I have them in a binder and have actually read them a couple of times. That man knows the ins and outs of TSB like nobody's business.
  8. I thought the exact same thing the first time I played Madden 07. And for the record, I'd still rather play TSB.
  9. I really enjoyed Tecmo vs. Madden. Nice job.
  10. Great story. You can take some solace in the fact you were the Cardinals in week 12 vs. the mighty 49ers and you kept it damn close.
  11. Lol, so true. TSB III will seem silky smooth after suffering through a game ofthe PSX version. My biggest gripe with III is the broken running game. It's possible to average 20-30 yards per carry without even trying. I even had a cpu-controlled Kijana Carter rack up close to 300 yards against me in Week One!
  12. I agree that there are way too many sacks in the Genesis version but i find the offense in the SNES version to be out of control. I compared my one season of the SNES version to several seasons on the Gen a while ago. By far, just about every player's numbers were WAY above average with the SNES game.
  13. Everytime i go to a ROM site they have the beta version of TSB for the Genesis. Even this site has only that one in the downloads section. I was just wondering if anyone plays the retail version? All of my nine documented seasons were with that one. If you need to know the difference, the retail version does not have Mark Bavaro on the Eagles nor is Kevin Mack on the Browns. As well, QB ratings seem to be much higher in the beta version. And another thing i've noticed is Darrell Green is not available for Punt and Kick returns - you get A.J. Johnson instead. I've also noticed that certain ratings do not change no matter what the player's condition is. For instance, the Receptions for WR will be the same whether a guy is in Average or Excellent. However, his speed rating will change accordingly. Just some things i've noticed and i was wondering which version most of you are using.
  14. Yeah i can agree with that. I was playing a game against the Chiefs, (I was the Bucs) the other day and Neil Smith was hounding my BAD Steve Deberg the entire game. I think i finished with a completion % below 30. Even when i managed to avoid Smith, my horrible receivers and backs were dropping everything.
