not sure if this is helpful at all but this is the screenshot.  thanks for your help.  i'm trying to play with my 10 year old son.  oddly enough he's unable to troubleshoot it better than me for a change. ha.  

yeah i'm still struggling for some reason.  it definitely shows gamepad on the far right when I plug in the second controller.  and I hear the ding from the laptop saying that it's connected.  but it wont let me change any of the buttons. it just stays the way it is.  also is there a way to save seasons in the middle?  im assuming when I close the window it will start over right?

Great game!  I played it for the first time last night. 

Ok now for the dumb question of the day...

Does anyone know why I can't configure a second game controller on my laptop?  I was easily able to get the first one on there but for some reason it's not letting me do a second one.  The laptop is reading the game controller because it pops up as soon as i plug it in.  but i can't configure it like i was able to do the first one.  screenshots or instructions would be great.  

ok, thanks.  what link, website or app do you recommend for my pc that will support the normal usb old-school nintendo controller? 

also, are these multi-player?

I got there via Nesbox and then got redirected to the Microsoft store. It's an app called Nesbox Universal Emulator.  I downloaded the app and then downloaded Tecmo Super Bowl 2017 to the actual app. And when i open the app itself on my desktop, that's when you pull up settings to configure the controllers.

quick (and possibly silly question)

i just downloaded tecmo super bowl 2017 off of the universal emulator app on my desktop and am trying to use some old school NES style usb controllers i got from amazon but when i go to settings it doesn't allow me to configure them.  it basically shows keyboard settings and then xbox controller settings?  it made no sense to me but it's quite possible i'm missing something very glaring.  can someone help me get these usb controllers configured with the tecmo super bowl emulator?
