I think all you have to do is load the ROM you want and do a "file, save". That's it! I would recommend you copy the file you want to edit (so you have an unchanged backup saved) and put that in a separate directory. Then make your changes with that file, save it in your "editing" folder. Then when you are all done, just rename the file to whatever you want.

Hey Guys! I am brand new to the community. This site is fantastic!! Lots of excellent work from everyone. I am looking for a couple of things and need clarification. I just don't have hours to sift through this website so the answers may exist already, I just need help finding them. Hell a few hours is like half a season! 1) TSB - I see where to download various ROMs. Are there specific roms that have the code and/or ratings edited so that the game is harder? For example, is there rom that makes it so the computer actually throw to the wide open receiver vs. the guy 50 yds down field in double coverage (not everyone can be Sexy Rexy Grossman). Or is there a hack that must be running in the background? 2) I see there what looks like dozens of files if not hudreds. Could someone be so kind as to point me to a "more difficult ROM" with most recent rosters? I see there is TSB 2014 is the hame made more challenging than original code or not? Thanks for help, I just don't have the time to go through every ROM etc. Appreciate it!
