So using the TSBTOOL, I was able to change the year in the Season Menu.

But I'm still unable to change the Main menu year.

It has the best franchise year for each team since 1985. 

Along with my custom competitive playbook.

I just need help with one last thing!
Right now the default menu says "2012 NFL"

I've read and re-read this guide quite a few times, its over my head

I was curious if anyone would help me out.  I'm trying to change the default menu from "2012 NFL" to "LGND NFL"

If "LGND NFL" is not possible,  "1985 NFL" would also be perfect.

If anyone is willing please help, please do

I have a rom that I play with friends often and never the com. Is there a working 2pointconversion code for man vs man?

It's the off season and Sundays have been so boring without football. Bored enough to put down an Idea I've had for a long time This is a rom that combines rosters of multiple eras, but only tecmo rosters. 

*** This rom is Intended to feel vanilla like Tecmo super bowl 1991 ***  If you want to make a juiced version the floor is yours.

Set game clock to 5 mins MAN vs COM

Set game clock to 6 mins MAN VS MAN

Unbind SELECT when playing(SELECT has the kneel hack attached to it.

I couldn't figure out how to remove it without removing the press START for timeout hack

Unbinding select is an easy solution when playing tecmo against a friend)

I desperately need some help with

-removing the kickoff length hack (designed for com) on my rom 

                     It would make man vs man gameplay a lot better

- adding Press start for timeout hack to my rom  also great for man vs man game play

Tecmo Super Bowl 2012-13UPGRD.nes

After watching the 2012-2013 season I took it upon myself to recreate that season because of the personnel and state of the league.  There are many reasons i made this game and here they are in a list.

   - Ray Lewis' last stand

   - 3 rookie quarterbacks made it to the playoffs, (never been done in NFL history: Robert griffin III, Russel Wilson, Andrew Luck)

   - First time the NFL has had multiple mobile quarterbacks (Robert griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Russel Wilson, Cam Newton, Michael Vick, even Aaron Rodgers on a good day)

   - Peyton Manning's first season back from mutiple neck surgeries and now with the broncos

   - J.J. Watt recording 20 sacks but most unbelievably 20 PASS DEFLECTIONS

   - Adrian Peterson's almost record breaking season in a "Passing League"

Finally the biggest reason for releasing this rom is Custom Competitive playbook

I removed all pre-snap motion and joined/added formation's and plays for competitive man vs man play.

There are 2 versions MAN vs MAN and MAN vs COM The difference in the 2 roms is the Kickoff Length

When you play a season vs COM play the MAN vs COM romTecmo Super Bowl 2012-13 MVC.nes
 

After playing the rom for a few months I've gotten better with the play editor and changed a few plays and expanded a few formations

After realizing what the play editor can really do I edited/changed a few more plays and this is my final release. (so they say)
    - added/merged double TE(2 plays added)

    - added a full set of plays for offset I (best used with 2 quality running backs)

    - Removed Pre-snap motion and merged plays into oneback formation

    - Added a WR screen with matching pass plays

    - moved/added playactions

    - run and shoot draw *R2* is now useful in man vs man

    - last few edits and tweaks on rosters

With more gameplay noticed some minor things that needed to be edited

-jaguars jersey's conflicted with seahawks.   so thats fixed now

-shotgun trips right pass plays had issues with defensive motion.  fixed and removed

I removed the emulator,

its just the ROM now.

Its an emulator called FCU ULtra but I renamed it to Nintendo for nostalgia.

I've been working on a version of tecmo ever since i realized i was able to do so.  In 2007-8, after seeing the patriots go 16-0, brett favre and the packers go 13-3 along with the cowboys, colts, and chargers i knew i had a year to remember.  so i decided to make a Tecmo that i thought was very playable.  I basically used the same formula for stats as the original 1991 tecmo.  I've seen too many custom Tecmo ROMS give out maximum speed like candy. Keeping in mind that Ted Ginn JR. was the fastest player in the league this year (2008), but also keeping in mind that dolphins went 1-15 this year, so I gave ted Ginn Jr 50 maximum speed vs Randy Moss(69 maximum speed) who is clearly slower than Ted Ginn Jr. 

The formula used was *actual speed x production in 2008*.  Seeing as Randy moss set records that season (2008) it was only appropriate to give him 69

Another thing I did was combine formations for better game play, I removed/edited almost all of the pre-snap motion plays and used formations like: *oneback* and *pro t*

(PS,  I extracted the 2008 rosters onto a knubbe's 2013 Tecmo super bowl.nes , so that i could take advantage of the upgraded kickoff's distances, and the madden style playbook color.  Just a warning as to why it says 2013 in the start screen but Steve Mc'nair is still on the ravens )

I really hope you tecmo'ers out there give this game the time of day because I've put a lot of effort into it and I think its an amazing product
