With the discovery of AKB being a value that doesn't matter, does that mean the same for APB? I was going to update my tecmo super bowl roster app and wanted to check on that before I went crazy with the editing.

How do you guys think these should be weighted to determine an overall players skillset. I'm going to redo my rankings on my roster app, and wanted to see what you guys thought. Here is what I used for running backs before... RS + (MS x 2) + HP + BC + REC = overall value I was thinking of going to this instead for runningbacks RS + (MS x 3) + (HP x 2) + BC + REC = overall value Any thoughts? I want to have a good solid update for the app that everyone could find useful, and also have an idea of something I want to try with a contest once it hits 10,000 downloads. Right now we are at 8,719 downloads. I'll always keep the app add-free and no charge. I don't want to make any money off it, I just want to contribute in some way to the community and to help keep the tradition going.

This is probably impossible, but I wanted to ask. Have you all seen those Nintendo world championship roms, where you play a level of Mario, a level of tetris, and a level of rad racer and when you are done it combines your total score? Would it be possible for instance to make a rom where you play a half of tecmo super bowl, an inning of rbi baseball, and a period of blades of steel and have it add the scores up? I think that would be sweet.

If they put tsb on ouya and had a way for people to play online, I'd maybe get one of those, that would be sweet.

I appreciate all the help I can get. Here are the formulas I used to get my "index scores." QB = MS+PS+PC+PC+APB RB = RS+MS+MS+HP+BC+REC WR = RS+MS+MS+HP+BC+REC+REC TE = MS+MS+HP+BC+REC+REC OL = MS+HP DL = RS+RP+MS+HP+INT LB = RS+RP+MS+HP+INT DB = RS+RP+MS+HP+INT K = KA+KA+AKB P = KA+KA+AKB KR = RS+MS+MS+MS+HP+BC PR = RS+MS+MS+MS+HP+BC Then what I did was took the highest score and used that as the denominator in the fraction. That's how I came up with the 100 rating, they are basically percentages from each players index score divided by the highest score from that particular position group. Some of the ratings are a little goofy even after I tried to factor in certain ratings in more heavily than others. That's why I put in the regular ratings from the game as well. I'll keep tweeking those ratings and try to get them better.

Hey all. I am new to the board. I have tsb for nes, and also one of the 2013 cartridges. A group of buddies and myself get together and play every so often. I'm probably the worse of all my friends at the game. I put together a free app if anyone is interested. No cost to download, no adds, I don't get anything in terms of money for it. I have the rosters for the teams, and each players main skill attributes listed. I also took those attributes and put them into a formula, which I used to rate all the players by position on a 100 point scale, so for example the best runningback in the game according to the formula would be a 100, then the next best would be slightly lower, etc... I also then averaged the ratings to give each team an overall team rating, and a rating for offense, defense, and special teams.
