Thanks everyone for the congratulatory messages. It was another great weekend, and tournament in New York.  Huge shout out to Brian for sticking with it after Break screwed you all over. The new venue was perfect and worked out great. Private bar, and two bathrooms in close proximity for those who were shitting their brains out. 

More shout outs to everyone else who helped Brian run the tournament. Ryan for keeping the brackets and group play going, Matt for the video productions, and everyone else who helped set up. 

I had some pretty close games throughout the day that could have gone either way. And it was awesome playing Brian in the championship game. Great seeing everyone, and meeting some of the new guys. See you all soon. 

PS* I stayed with some friends who live in Astoria, and while walking to their place after the tournament, the Break bouncer started yelling at me because I was wearing shorts. 

I play, it's really fun.

I played it while it was in Beta on the PC, but haven't picked it up since.  Does it carry over my cards from the PC, or would I be a day 1 newbie?

Question though, is the power attribute basically like an overall rating for the player out of 99 or does it affect something on the ice (hitting or something)?

I see a huge difference between high-end QBs and shit tier ones.. which is awesome.  If you try throwing on the run this year, balls will sail a lot depending on the QB. 

Yeah, Madden is a pretty low risk purchase for me every year.  

I bought it at $45 at launch as an Amazon Prime deal and will probably sell it for around 25-30 around Christmas.

Another solid Northeast Tecmo tourney is under wraps, shout-out to Ray for setting it up. The venue was a really cool classic gaming store which basically has everything new and old. Everyone had a chance to play a ton of games, I played 8 games total and i think people in the loser's bracket got even more.  A lot of the new guys were really competitive on console and were interested in what playing online was all about as well.  

I have fond memories of playing this in the computer lab in 2nd grade.  I would name one of the party members after my then crush and they would always die of dysentery.

Speaking of Halo, no matter how good Advanced Warfare is, it's taking a backseat to the Master Chief collection.  

Comes with Original Halo 1/2/3/4 Multiplayer, 1080p, 60FPS.  and remastered Halo 2 multiplayer.  As well as all the campaigns. 

Halo CE multiplayer & Halo 2 were my favorites so I cannot wait.
