JJ might be a better receiver, but with Fernandez, Gault, Brown Horton & Allen, do you really need him to be a receiver? On Phoenix, the receivers don't have the speed, but they have the hands. Beuerlein had a very good season, but he wasn't asked to do much. Oddly, both INTs occurred in the same game as the last plays of each half in the game Bo missed on deep bombs hoping for a long catch. Those two INTs really shouldn't count against him, he threw no INTs in the playoffs. His rating of 226.4 may be one of the highest I ever had in a season. I played four seasons recently keep track of stats & it's better than what I did with Buffalo, Houston or Phoenix. I never threw a pass with Jay Schroeder.

while it is ~TRUE~ that Johnny J fumbles a lot, what most guys dont understand is that this fact provides even moar undeniable *PROOF* of his Tecmo Greatness..... for its only the GREAT Tecmo backs that seem to fumble a lot, for two obvious reasons: (1) they stand as fucking giants compared to the rest of their team, so you feed them the rock, repeatedly... then, (2) the subliminal extrasensory ☆JUICE☆ starts flowing thru the controller, into your veins and up your arm, crawling like an electric snake into your brain and shutting down all inhibitory impulses like "get OOB" or "take the first down" just RIDE THAT RAINBOW PONY MAN, FUCK YESSSS....... then the next conscious thought you possess is a vague sense of alarm, the balls out, and the other teams recovered it... you start breaking out in a cold sweat, wipe the saliva off your chin, rub out the stains in your pants, say "man up, play some fucking defense" and get johnny johnson the ball back... cuz he didnt fumble, THE GODS DID: just their way of letting johnny know "them wings sure is pretty boy, but we warned you bout them wax hands now"

The challenge was to see if JJ is a top player, not a PHX challenge. I changed to the plays that work the best. I wont do a "keep the original plays challenge" because I like changing the playbooks. It's part of the game and it doesn't make sense to handicap yourself.

I did complain bout the pay out cause I thought it was gonna be around 140 for winner. but no one actually said anything official.. but changing pay out cause of a no show is understandable. far as splitting the bracket and refreshing, that was definitely a little frustrating .. honestly I was just upset over that $42 dollar toll... that ruined my day. I mean its a house tourney and I really never asked any questions and only assumed how things were gonna be.. my fault and ill be sure to clarify the rules of the tourney and payouts beforehand next time.. definitely meant a lot of cool people there and hopefully some of them decide to play online
