ren6175
I am working on a 32 team all-time college football team ROM. I have my player data laid out in an excel spreadsheet. I realize I can use TecmoToolSupreme to enter the information, but is there an easy way to convert that data into a form usable by the program? So far the only thing I can think of is:1. Copy Excel data to txt file2. Manually add all necessary commas, team headings, and other miscellaneous data3. Load txt file into the tool4. Apply to ROMI want to skip step 2 or make it automated somehow because formatting all the text will be time consuming.Thanks.
Knobbe
When you work with it in excel, what you want to do is when you save it, to change the format. You save it as a CSV, or comma seperated values.THat way, it automatically applies the commas when you save.YOu can actually open these things in notepad/wordpadThen you can either copy and paste of the CSV or else simply change the extention from .csv to .txt, which won't change any of the data.Perhaps someone is familiar as to whether or not you can simply load a CSV file. ren6175
Great. Thank you. I knew there had to be a way to at least insert the commas automatically. Just that helps. I will keep working on it.
