That really depends on what level of football you are dealing with. Here is a quick list from the top of my head.

Historical: Double Wing, Short Punt, Triple Wing, Oklahoma T, A, Yale, Notre Dame Box

Specialty: Satellite, Stack, Williamsburg Wing, Inverted I, Wild Bunch, Swinging Gate, Power Wing, Emory & Ivory

High School: Modern Double Wing, Single Wing, Slot-T, Sniffer

College: Flexbone, Split Flexbone

College/Pro: Inverted Bone, Bunch, Twins and Trips from the various formations

How about the 4 spread WR shotgun with 1 HB (with the TE flanked)?

whoops forgot that one.

i was thinking more pro/college level. i know what flexbone is, but what does split flexbone look like?

is this inverted bone?

i didn't wanna say anything until i had something to show...but for awhile i've been writing tech demos for a project i call openBowl.

the first demo, called FormTest, placed the offese and defense on the field. (pics here. scroll down the page a bit)

after that came FieldTest which implemented the "camera." this scrolling system allows for unique endzones/midfield logos for teams, unlike TSB.

now im working getting the scripting engine to do more then SET_POS_FROM_SCREEN and SET_POS_FROM_BALL, as well as interfacing FormTest to FieldTest. i just wanted to make sure the FormTest worked for all formations i planned to include before i move on.

Without being ultra specific those looked fairly good.

The 46 diagram is vague. I've seen two models with the most common being the inside LB/Ss over the Ts but there is another that looks more like what you drew in text.

The 43 basic has two forms [often called college and pro though run in both]. College has the OLBs over the T and the Ends over the TEs. Pro has the Ends shaded over the Ts with the OLBs shaded over the TEs. The difference is slight by the design is highly different.

This is a defense created by 2 coaches who wrote a book on it. Baltimore has been running this here and there (some variations) with Ed Reed playing back. The benefit of this is the DS is so far back the he can travel a greater distance for coverage and his momentum forward creates a stronger collision.

The rest is slight like Lineman shaded, SS in a Monster, Bubble LBs, etc.
