Why play code bytes show up as read even when not used...

A geeky bit of info that many probably could give two f's about. In FCEUX you will see play code bytes read that couldn't possibly have been used.


 


looking at that source code section again I realized why some bytes in the play command section will get read even when not used. The play code command processing automatically reads 3 bytes regardless if the command is 1,2,or 3 bytes long. 


 


It just doesn't used the other bytes it reads and saves if the command ends up only being one byte long.
