bruddog
Another hidden gem uncovered in my reverse engineering of the tecmo source.... Tecmo had a check in place to start running clock before the snap if the clock status byte was set to a certain value. Obviously they didn't use most likely because of allowing people to change defenders forever thus every snap would take all the clock. But interesting to see it in there. MoltoAbsurdo
I was looking for something like this... I find it a bummer that the Time Out function is basically useless on offense if a player stays in bounds. Pick the play as soon as the screen comes up and you MIGHT have 1 second run off the clock. Having the clock run before the snap would seem to make it much more real. Good point on the defender cycling through the squad, Hadn't thought of that. Maybe be able to snap the ball after 5 seconds regardless of defender's choice? Not possible? Tunnelrunner
