Registration is being accepted for the 2013 Midwest Tecmo Super Bowl Tournament, which takes place July 27, 2013, at Rick's Tavern & Grille in Fairfield, Ohio. We look to cap it off at 64 spots, barring further interest. Former Cincinnati Bengal and TSB great David Fulcher will be making his third appearance at the tournament to share stories, sign autographs, take pictures, sell merchandise and represent his foundation. We also will be featuring the first-ever Women's Tecmo Super Bowl Championships, which is a FREE entry for any female interested in playing. A trophy and other awards will be given. Just an all-around fun event, which we dub the FESTIVAL OF TECMO SUPER BOWL. There will be raffles, door prizes and game-play prizes.

All information, signups and paying options will be done through our website at www.mwtecmo.com.

Hey TecSpectre. There's definitely been some generated talks about the women's tournament around here. We will be making a more concerted push with advertising the event come April and May. We definitely plan on having 8 participate in the ladies gig. We will keep the website updated as we receive word regarding the women's tournament, though. Thanks for the message. Keep an eye on www.mwtecmo.com.

Mort needs to be covered like Tebow is covered on ESPN.

Actually that Mort/Silverblatt game should be must see....hasn't Seth won like 2 of the 3 Southeast tourneys?

Can't we just mount a camera to Mort's head so as to stream the tourney from Mort's vantage point? You gotta give the people what they want.

Easiest Group: B.

Hardest Group: Most appear to have 2 solid players, but Groups H, E, and A seem most difficult. Daboy and Orenga in the same group is awfully tough.

Group difficulty really doesn't mean anything anyway. Everyone is advancing to single-elim, and without groups assigned to a particular quadrant, a high seed won't necessarily provide an easier path. Many of the elite players, for instance, could end up in the bracket's first quadrant. Just have to put your trust in the Gods!
