Great write up on, in my opinion, the most important issue in the game world: the not-so-hidden gambling systems and their monumental adaptation by triple-AAA studios.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-10-11-are-loot-boxes-gambling

On the subject, how does anybody think they're gambling when they're up against a computer program? And this could be loot boxes or just regular old digital casino poker or digital slot "machines". It's a freaking computer program!

Random? Ha ha ha. Suckers.

who are the "police of randomness"? And who pays them?

And the comments being censored/blocked by YouTube?

That was condescendingly wonderful. Points to the fact the FBI has become useless and/or complicit. I wish he would have offered the audio and pin pointed in slow motion on his software the actual proof of his claim. That said, I believe him.

The nfl didnt even need to consider to make a rule, they can just site actual law that's in the books.

(a)Designation.—
The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b)Conduct During Playing.—During a rendition of the national anthem—
(1)when the flag is displayed—
(A)
individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note;
(B)
members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may render the military salute in the manner provided for individuals in uniform; and
(C)
all other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart, and men not in uniform, if applicable, should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(2)
when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

How to make a positive impact vs. how to be perceived as a whiny bitch.

I was content with dropping the "anthem protest" conversation, but felt the need to share some news out of the NHL this week.  Yeah, the NHL... get over it.  My views on the NFL anthem protesters are that, despite the aim to raise awareness for their cause, they are doing nothing more than dividing the nation even further.  Sports fans who tune into the games as an escape from their day-to-day are being driven away by the constant attention.

Below you have two examples of NHL players (PK Subban and JT Brown) who, instead of just protesting and making zero progress on the issue, are making a positive impact by getting involved in their communities and pushing for awareness/change.  Regardless of where you stand on the issue, this is respectable.  Below you can read the article on Subban's cause and Brown's recent twitter post that outlines his plan.  For the record, Subban never knelt for the anthem and Brown raised his first for the anthem for a total of 1 game.

Subban:  https://www.nhl.com/predators/news/subban-aims-to-set-positive-tone-in-community-with-blueline-buddies/c-291898476

So the NFL has been protesting for almost a year, or over a year, I lost track and don't really care to look it up... and NOTHING has been accomplished.  In fact, they are still forced to talk about it like clowns (literally 1 hour ago).

Props to the NHL for doing it right.  Not only did Subban and Brown (and I'm sure others to follow) make an immediate positive impact, but they did it without major controversy and driving the sports fan away.

I went to a hockey game the other night, some kind of semi pro. Wichita thunder beat somebody I can't remember in 3 on 3 sudden death overtime. Was a fun time.

i think the straw that broke the NFL camel back for me was when those guys in England sat for USA national anthem and then rose for god save the qween.
