Elway7 originally posted the instructions for hex modification (via Jstout), in the link above, but I made this IPS for simplicity's sake. Now anyone can apply this patch to all those old-school ROMs, for more realism.This playoff system (5 teams per conference) was used from 1978-1989, and also coincided with the regular season expansion from 14 to 16 games. I tried to make an 8-team playoff IPS (using Jstout's CIFL ROMs) that would've covered 1970-1977, but the game reset upon completion of the season.As always, make sure you apply an IPS patch to a copy of a ROM.
