Given that I started playing again, and maybe now understand how to throw the ball (never my strong suit), I can't realistically have most people in the DMV (DC, Maryland, (Northern) Virginia) come and play me and expect to win at a reasonable percentage*. Even Plaything, with his family responsibilities, can't reasonably be expected to pick up a controller when I'm running Redgun Z Slant with a fast QB. For example, we did some Testaverde with running plays banned, from what Plaything indicated, it was somewhat demoralizing (although quite suspenseful and intriguing - IIRC Plaything did pull out the win half the time, pretty impressive if you have zero playtime like he gets now). So I was thinking: instead of just having a bounty at tournaments, what about a permanent bounty on my head? e.g. you get $10 every time you beat me in a mort-starred matchup, $15 for a mort-uneven listing, $5 for a cross-tier (e.g. HOU vs. MIN), $2 for a top-tier against mid-tier (e.g. ATL), $1 for S.F. vs. IND. (or even $20+ for me taking the better team) Have any of you ever tried something like this? red98sethuthut Posted June 8, 2016 Share Posted June 8, 2016 I thought about doing this at bills tailgate parties. Have a $50 pot. If you can beat its a $1 to play and it goes into the pot. I've given away bounties for statistical achievements before at tournaments and pick-up games. Sounds like fun.
