Were you aware that Peyton Manning had his neck fused with a bone from his own hip, which is a bit more painful, than the usual cadaver bone so he could get back earlier? Crazy, huh.
In a similar notion, we decided to put out our rom before the start of the season in lieu of really checking every single player yet again, so we ended up with “Brandon Llyod” and “Black Charlie Whitehurst” and starting NFC Pro-Bowl Center Jason Witten. This updated release is aimed at fixing a lot of these little bugs and some minor ratings tweaks in order to pander to our fans. Along with the updates we’ve also included some other roms from the guys who chose accuracy over speed.

Here are some of the highlights of the fixes
- Mixed up Passing Accuracy and Pass Control in the manual: PA = completions, PC = where the ball is going
- Not only is Kerry Collins starting over Peyton, but Peyton has been renamed as “QB Colts” given his current up in the air status

Not sure if you’re looking for individual player updates, but Lions punter Harris should be replaced with Ryan Donahue (jersey #6). Thanks, this ROM is great.

Haven’t checked the new ROM yet, but Andy Dalton has been #14 ever since Draft Day.
The Stealers defense is way overrated. Woodley was made into Superman and is annoying as heck to play against.
Bengals offense is underrated. If I don’t get out of bounds every play I will lose at least 5 fumbles a game.
On defense about once a game when I sack/force fumble the opposing QB they pick it up and take it to the house.
I’ve checked my keyboard and it works fine, however switching players on defense and receivers on offense is a crapshoot at best. Too often skips over the defender needed and the timing is way quick to try to change because the nano second you try to go back the play starts. It skips over the receivers I wanted countless times as well. I’ve given up an insane amount of 50+ yard runs and ended up throwing into double coverage because of the controls and not because of my ability.

A quick note on the Chicago Bears, Tyler Clutts is the fullback, and he is the only one on the roster. The other 3 running backs would be Matt Forte, Marion Barber and Khalil Bell.

Not sure if this is already known and being worked on, but the Buffalo Bills changed their uniforms to white helmets and blue tops.
That said, this ROM is awesome indeed, thank you. This so helps my need for TSB with modern teams

I also, cant stand the Bills unis! On some of the rom’s they are in all white witch looks terrible and other roms they arn’t updated at all! what can I do to fix this on a rom?
When I open the unzipped file I get an error message
“failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found”
What the deal?
More than likely the issue is that you’re running a much older version of windows that doesn’t have directX 9 installed. I’d do a search for your version of windows and direct x. I’m unsure if your system will support this regardless. You can also search for a program called “nesticle”

Awesome roster changes. Still would like to see Tebow though.
Can we please have a roster update that puts in Tebow? He’s Denver’s starter right now. We also need to put Carson Palmer on Oakland’s roster, as well as a few other major updates.
Bare minimum, we need Tebow. It can even be called Tecmo Super Bowl 2012 Version Tebow, haha

Awesome! Been plaing non-stop! Only thing is I can’t break tackles or tackle when engaged with another player. Rap[id a button does not work with the 2012 rom.
The Lions should be good enough for cpu to take them to playoffs. The 49ers should be good enough for cpu to take them to 12-4 or 13-3. I’d just like to be able to face those teams in playoffs instead of Cowboys, Eagles, Bears so often.
And it’s true Tebow should be in and Orton in KC.
